Senior Speech and Language Therapist

I enjoy working with children and young people of all ages. I love getting fully involved in playing with children and meeting them where they are, whether that be in messy play, acting out scenes with their favourite toys, or discussing computer games they love.

I always aim to really listen to what children and young people have to say, showing them that I respect and value their ideas. I love being surprised by the insightful, funny, and creative things that children and young people say or show me.

I take a pro-neurodiversity approach to my work, always seeking to understand, value and respect a child or young person’s individual perspective, strengths, and individuality.
Keeping up to date with new research, I enjoy adapting my theoretical knowledge to create flexible and low-pressure activities.
