Life revolves around communication. I have always been fascinated by how it shapes our relationships and interactions. Communication gives us the tools necessary to understand and connect with people, express our needs, wants, and feelings, and fully participate in society.

For me, speech and language therapy should be a motivating, engaging and enjoyable experience. Children and young people are unique individuals, and one size does not fit all! It is important to tailor therapy to suit the interests and needs of each person. During therapy sessions, I try to actively listen to what children, young people and parents say to fully acknowledge and value their thoughts, ideas, and perspectives.

I am a mother of three. My experience of parenthood has given me first-hand knowledge about child development and empathy for parents' worries and frustrations. I am passionate about giving children and young people the tools and confidence they need to communicate to the best of their abilities while having fun along the way!

My favourite word is: ‘Stella’- means ‘star’ in Italian. I love the Italian language. There are so many beautiful and melodic-sounding words to choose from, and this is one of my favourites!
