Senior Speech and Language Therapist

My passion for speech and language therapy was ignited during my six years working in a Special Educational Needs Primary school with young children. It was there that I witnessed first-hand the incredible power of communication and the joy that comes when a child finds their voice. Everyone deserves to be heard, in whatever way that may be, and I feel privileged every day to help make that possible.

I believe that empowering parents is just as important as supporting the child. By working closely with families, I try to ensure that parents feel confident, involved, and supported. Speech and language therapy combines my love of working with children with my belief that every voice matters. There is truly nothing more wonderful than empowering someone and their family to express themselves and connect with the world around them.

My favourite word is mellifluous. It means a sound so smooth and sweet that it feels like it’s flowing like honey – flowing gently and making everything feel a little bit more beautiful.
