Communication is a fundamental and essential aspect of human existence. It's at the core of our ability to convey information, thoughts and emotions and is essential in the social development, education, and the overall well-being of an individual.
I was drawn to the profession because of the opportunity to improve the lives of others, the diverse and dynamic nature of the work, and the deep sense of satisfaction that comes from helping individuals overcome communication challenges.
No day is the same, there is always something new to learn, and it is a privilege to be a part of an individual's therapy journey.
My favourite word is “Sonder” - the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.
