Speech and Language Therapy Assistant Practitioner
After working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school for several years I found the speech, language and communication side of the role very interesting and decided to apply to become a SaLTAP. I love working with children and seeing the difference you can make in helping children and young people to find their voice and reach their potential.
My favourite word is a Welsh word - ‘Cwtch’ - it means cuddle in English. I love it as my heritage is Welsh and it reminds me of spending time with my family.
