Speech and Language Therapy Assistant Practitioner

I love children, and I wholeheartedly love helping children.  As a passionate advocate for effective communication and compassionate care, I am driven to pursue a career as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant. As an experienced SEN TA, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of communication in enriching lives and fostering meaningful connections. This has ignited my fascination with language and its profound impact on individuals' well-being.

In my free time, I enjoy cheering on my two sons from the sidelines of the football pitch, walking my dogs, playing pickleball, cooking and learning the drums!

My favourite word is ‘SISU’. It is a Finnish word translated into English as a special strength and persistent resolve to continue and overcome in the moment of adversity; an almost magical quality.... a combination of stamina, perseverance, courage, and determination held in reserve for hard times.  SISU is an inherent characteristic of the Finnish people.
