Speech and Language Therapist
I've always been fascinated by the power of speech and language to transform lives. As a Speech and Language Therapist, I find immense joy in witnessing children progress and develop in ways that are meaningful to them. One of my favorite aspects of this profession is working closely with parents, empowering them to be actively involved in their child's communication journey and celebrating those precious 'light bulb' moments together. Communication, though complex, holds the key to unlocking countless possibilities, and I consider it a privilege to support both children and their families in this journey.
My favourite word is “Ineffable” - because some things are just too beautiful to be captured in words. This resonates with me because it embodies the moments in speech and language therapy that defy verbal expression, such as breakthroughs in communication or profound connections with clients. As therapists, we navigate the complexities of human expression, recognizing that communication extends beyond words to encompass gestures, expressions, and nonverbal cues. "Ineffable” is a reminder of the depth and richness of human interaction.
