Growing up multilingual, I have witnessed how languages can affect identities and impact communication. Having experienced the difficulties of having a communication barrier, I strive to provide a safe and positive environment whilst supporting individuals’ speech, language, communication and swallowing abilities. What makes Speech and Language Therapy so rewarding and inspirational is knowing that a small difference in a child’s communication can contribute massively towards their development.
My favourite word is “joy”, because it is always connected to a positive feeling.
