Lauren Taylor
Based in Birmingham
Clinic Manager (Birmingham) & Speech and Language Therapist
When I started my Speech and Language Therapy course, I was soon passionate about learning about the different communication needs people may have and the ways in which I can support them. Since qualifying, I have worked in a range of special educational needs settings. I have remained passionate about my job; being able to help people to communicate and improve their overall quality of life is amazing and I find it so rewarding.
My favourite word is Holistic. It’s my favourite word because I think it sounds magical. Also, as a Speech and Language Therapist I believe it is important for me to see a person holistically; considering the whole of a person and how their communication difficulty impacts them and their life.
