My passion for Speech and Language Therapy started when my own child started speech and language therapy. He was non verbal at 18 months and now doesn't stop talking! I was fascinated in understanding the language journey and went on to work with children with additional needs. I enjoy understanding children as individuals, learning about their interests and motivators and adapting any sessions to them. Seeing children become delighted as they learn to communicate and become less frustrated is incredibly rewarding.
My favourite word is serendipity - being aware of the unexpected and making the most of it.
