Having worked in a secondary school and seeing first hand how communication differences affects learning and social interaction and how support with speech, language and communication in young people’s lives can have a huge impact, I knew how much I wanted to be involved in that work. I feel it is a wonderful thing to be a part of the journey for each individual child or young person and to see them grow in confidence. 

My favourite word is “wonderful” because it connotes pleasure, astonishment, and admiration or that something has inspired delight.
